Travel and Leisure Magazine has selected Denver as the second best city in the nation for summer travel. Writer Joshua Pramis selected the magazine’s top five travel cities based on good weather, family-friendliness, great parks and easy access to the outdoors, and fantastic farmer’s markets.

The Denver Post reported that May foreclosure filings dropped to the lowest level in 18 months in Colorado. The article, published in the June 18th issue, stated that the drop may be a sign that homeowners are getting more leeway to repay or restructure their loans.

Businessweek magazine recently cited Denver as the “most improved U.S. housing market.” The report stated that the economy and employment slowed just as other areas did during the recession, but things (in Denver) appear to be moving in the right direction this year.
