A sign of the times?  Or ultimate proof of real estate’s three verities—location, location, location?

On April 22, a parking space in the heated garage of Brooks Tower on 15th Street in downtown Denver sells for $55,000.

Its 72 square feet fetches $764 per foot.

The next day, a three-bedroom, 2-and-a-half bath townhome sells for the same price, on West Mexico off  Federal.  Its 1195 square feet fetches $46 a square, about one seventeenth the cost.

Each sold in about four months.  But one likely commands a greater rent.  Which one do you think does?
